Japan's ferroalloy imports totaled 139,933 tons in April, rising by 5.3% from March but decreasing by 1.75% year on year, according to data released by Japan's Ministry of Finance.
In the first four months of this year, the country's ferroalloy imports totaled 506,855 tons, falling by 2.5% year on year.
In the given period of time, the country's ferroalloy imports from Kazakhstan totaled 108,923 tons, rising by 6%; those from China were at 90, 704 tons, rising by 1.2% and those from South Africa were at 87,965 tons, decreasing by 23.8%, all compared to the figures in the same period of a year ago.
